Sent crypto on the wrong network
Do not send a second transfer to the same address, and do not sit on it: collect your transaction hash and the network you actually used, and raise it now. The deposit address you were given is watched on exactly one network, a transfer that settles on a different one will not appear in your balance by itself, and recovering it — where that is possible at all — is a manual job that starts with your hash.
A coin and a network are not the same thing
Most of the coins here are not tied to a single blockchain. The same token can be issued separately on several of them, and each issue is its own ledger: same name, same price, different rails. Your wallet usually shows them under one symbol, which is exactly why the mistake is easy to make and hard to spot afterwards.
USDT is the clearest case here — we accept it on 2 different networks: Tron (TRC-20) and Ethereum (ERC-20). Choosing the wrong one on your side does not change what your wallet displays, and nothing warns you before you press send.
Addresses do not save you either. Some chains share an address format, so the same string is a valid destination on more than one of them. A transfer aimed at one and sent over another will normally succeed on-chain and simply land where nobody is watching. Chains with a different format are safer by accident: most wallets refuse the send instead of letting it through.
That is why the deposit page asks you to choose a network before it gives you an address, and why the address changes when you change the network. The address is bound to the network printed above it, and to nothing else.
What can be looked at, and what cannot
Nobody can promise you a recovery, and anyone who does before looking at your transaction is guessing. What can be said honestly is which situations are worth raising:
- Sent over a different chain to an address in the same format. The funds are sitting at an address the platform generated, so there is something to look at. Whether they can be moved depends on how that address was created and on what the chain charges to move them. It is reviewed case by case, and no outcome is guaranteed.
- Sent on the right network but under the minimum, or after the address expired. This is not a wrong-network case at all and it is normally traceable — the guide on deposits that have not been credited covers it.
- Sent to an address you did not get from us, or to a wallet or contract belonging to someone else. That is outside the operator's reach, and no support team anywhere can reverse it.
Where a recovery is possible at all it is a manual operation on a chain the platform does not normally touch. It takes time, it can be refused for technical reasons, and the decision belongs to the operator on the facts of your case. You will be told what happened either way. You will not be told in advance that the money is coming back.
What to do now
Stop
Do not send a second transfer to the same address hoping the first one catches up. It will not, and you will have two cases to untangle instead of one.
Collect the facts
The transaction hash, the network your wallet or exchange actually used, the exact destination address, the coin and the amount, and the time you sent it.
Open one ticket with all of it
Put every line above in the first message. A wrong-network case cannot even begin until an agent can find your transaction on the chain it really landed on.
Keep the sending wallet
Do not delete it and do not lose the recovery phrase. Some recoveries need a signature from the wallet the funds came from.
Expect a person, not a status page
This is handled by hand and it will not resolve itself while you refresh your balance. Ask for an update on the same ticket rather than opening a second one, which only splits the history.
How not to do it again
Each of these takes a few seconds and removes the whole class of problem:
- Choose the network on the deposit page first, then copy the address it gives you. Never reuse an address from an earlier deposit.
- Match the network name in your sending wallet against the one printed above the address. Exchanges rename them: the same chain can appear as its ticker, its brand name or an abbreviation.
- Paste, never retype, and check the first five and the last five characters after pasting. Address-swapping malware exists, and this is what catches it.
- Do not send a tiny test transfer to check the route. The floor is $25.00, and USDT on Ethereum (ERC-20) needs $50.00, so anything under that is a second problem rather than a safety net.
